Job summary

Skillframe Ltd in Kingston is seeking a Large Format Sign Maker, Machine Operator and Installer to join their team. You will operate state-of-the-art printers and finishing equipment, producing high-quality graphics and assembling signage.

You’ll handle weeding, laminating, LED manufacturing and soldering, perform quality checks, and maintain a clean, safe workspace. A full UK driving license is preferred and you will read job sheets.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with weeding, laminating, operating printers, CNC machines, and plotters.
• Experience with CNC machines and printing/plotting.
• Knowledge of design and print software.
• Comfortable with hand tools and light machinery.
• Full UK driving licence.

Large Format Printer/Machine Operator/Installer / Sign Maker

Location: Kingston

Hours: 40 hour (8:30‑5:30pm)

Salary: T.B.C

Our client is seeking a Large Format Sign Maker/Machine Operator/Installer to join their team. They are a well established Print/Signage organisation seeking a skilled and dedicated operator who is passionate about top‑tier graphics and operating cutting‑edge machinery.

As part of a dynamic team, you will work with state‑of‑the‑art industry machines such as the Océ Arizona Flatbed, HP Latex, Mimaki Printers, CNC Router, Laser Cutter, Laminator and Vinyl Plotters. You will operate, clean, and maintain print and plotter machines, perform bench production activities including weeding and laminating, fabricate signage (including LED manufacturing and soldering), conduct quality checks, and maintain a clean and safe work environment.

We’re looking for someone who is competent in using CNC machines and printing/plotting, as well as vinyl production, print finishing, and manufacturing. You should be able to follow instructions, work collaboratively, take initiative, be detail orientated, and read job sheets to take proactive measures. General knowledge of design and print software and comfort with hand tools and light machinery is required.
