Job summary

Hotel Chocolat is seeking a Wholesale Replenishment Manager to lead stock planning for Wholesale partners and drive efficient replenishment processes. The role involves managing a small team and working across Production, Warehouse, and Finance to optimise inventory and service levels.

The position is hybrid with on-site three days a week at Mint House, Royston. Strong Excel skills and experience in replenishment are essential, with a focus on reducing waste and improving OTIF performance.

Responsibilities

• Own replenishment planning and execution across Wholesale partners to ensure stock availability and profitability.
• Line-manage and develop team members with coaching and feedback.
• Maintain and improve replenishment parameters and processes in business systems.
• Identify and mitigate overstock/understock and shelf-life risks across cross-functional teams.
• Ensure OTIF fulfilment of Partner POs and coordinate launches of seasonal ranges and promotions.
• Provide performance and risk reporting, insights and stakeholder recommendations.
• Drive continuous improvement across replenishment processes and automation.
• Build cross-functional relationships with Production, Warehouse, Finance and Demand Planning.
• Support internal customer service with selling channel stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Warehouse and Fulfilment on demand forecasting visibility.
• Input replenishment data into S&OE cycle and coordinate corrective actions.
• Ad-hoc analysis and deputise for line manager as required.

Job description

As we continue our mission to make people and nature happy through chocolate, we’re looking for a Wholesale Replenishment manager to join our Supply planning team on a fixed-term basis, for 12 months.

Our Wholesale Replenishment Manager is accountable for ensuring optimal stock availability across Wholesale selling partners; leading replenishment activities, balancing inventory investment with service level requirements while driving strong customer availability.

Our Wholesale Replenishment Manager drives process improvements with a proactive approach to continuous improvement and strong stakeholder relationships.

This is an exciting and pivotal role in the business, providing leadership and development to a small team of direct reports as well as working cross functionally throughout the business.

Here at Hotel Chocolat, we've adopted hybrid working. This means you’ll join us on site for three days a week, and for the other two days - you can work from wherever you like! The on-site location for this role is our support office, ‘Mint House’, in Royston, Hertfordshire. Our home from the very beginning, it’s just off the A505 and 10 minutes’ walk from Royston train station, with direct rail links to London King’s Cross.

What you’ll be doing

• Own replenishment planning and execution across Wholesale selling partners ensuring optimum stock availability to deliver strong sales and profit.
• Line-manage and develop team members, providing coaching, performance feedback and clear direction.
• Manage maintenance and continuous improvement of replenishment parameters and processes within relevant business systems.
• Pro-actively identify and mitigate overstock,understock and BBE/shelf-life risks, working cross-functionally to minimise waste and markdown.
• Overseeing team activity to ensure Partner POs are fulfilled OTIF, meeting internal SLAsDeliver OTIF launch of seasonal ranges, new products, new store openings and promotional events.
• Provide performance and risk reporting, insights, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement across replenishment processes, reporting, automation and workflow simplification.
• Build strong cross-functional relationships with Production, Warehouse, Account Managers, Finance, Demand Planning and external stakeholders as required.
• Responsible for internal customer service with selling channel stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with Warehouse and Fulfilment colleagues to ensure business visibility of demand forecasting and resource requirements.
• Own replenishment inputs into the S&OE cycle, monitoring short-term demand and supply changes, escalating stock risks, and coordinating corrective actions with stakeholders.
• Ad-hoc analysis and tasks as required by the business.
• Deputise for line manager as required.
