2 Sisters Food Group in Willand, Devon, is recruiting for Trussing Operatives. You will work shifts on a 3-week rota (AM or PM) and earn £13.11 per hour. No experience is required as full training is provided.

The Willand site is part of the UK Poultry division in 2 Sisters Food Group.
Willand has around 1000 employees and has been open and processing for over 100 years.
Many of our colleagues have developed from Production to Management, indeed our Willand Site Director was once a Production Operative.

The wider division employs over 8,500 people working in a chilled environment to process poultry products for consumers via major retailers.

The working hours for this position-
The rate of pay for theTrussing Operativerole is£13.11 per hour.
The hours of work for this role is based on a3 weekly Rota.
Week 1(Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday)
Week 2(Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday)
Week 3(Monday, Tuesday, Friday and Saturday)
You could be joining us as aTrussing Operative.This roleincludes the following duties:
We will provide full training in terms of Food Safety, Quality, Health and Safety and how to be a Trussing Operative.
We will teach you the differences in customer requirements.
No experience will be required just come with a \"Can do\" attitude.
Product quality is everyone’s responsibility, and the highest standards of quality must be maintained throughout all stages of the manufacturing process.
In your specific role this includes carrying out tasks in line with documented procedures and ensuring the products that we produce meet customer specifications.
You will consistently refer to the relevant customer specification sheets to ensure that the portions / products that are being packed are in accordance with the agreed weight and size parameters and that there are no visible quality issues with the product e.g. excessive bruising, poor cutting standards, bone fragments, or excess fat
You are responsible for identifying and reporting any product defects or deviations to specifications and removing those products from the line. This should also include a root cause analysis to help identify what caused the quality issue. You will also coach others to ensure they fully understand and adhere to the relevant customer specification sheets
