Job summary

Rosscare is seeking a Bench Engineer/Field Service Engineer in the United Kingdom to repair, service and maintain wheelchairs, combining workshop work with field duties, Monday to Friday, 40 hours a week.

You will follow infection control policies, manage paperwork, assist healthcare professionals, and support warranty and parts processes. A full driving licence is required; DBS check may be needed. Training is provided.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Carry out repairs, servicing and maintenance as directed by the manager.
• Process all paperwork related to repairs and servicing daily.
• Ensure warranty and scrap returns are labelled and collated at year end.
• Follow infection control policy at all times.
• Undertake engineering work including service, repairs and refurbishment with training provided.
• Assist in clinical appointments with healthcare professionals when required.
• Carry out administrative duties as needed.
• Ensure parts used are allocated from stores through the stores process.
• Adhere to Ross Care's procedures and housekeeping rules.
• Be on-call and receive standby/hourly payments as required.
