Job summary

Build Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Wet Multi Trader for our social housing and property maintenance client in Croydon. You will perform plastering, tiling and painting to high standards within occupied homes, focusing on wet trades and making-good following disrepair.

Responsibilities include completing works to timescales, maintaining safety, and recording job details. A driving license is advantageous; the role offers permanent, long-term work with a dedicated disrepair

Qualifications

• Strong plastering/skimming experience.
• Good tiling experience.
• Painting and decorating experience.
• Previous experience working in residential properties.
• Ideally experience in social housing, maintenance or disrepair.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Professional approach when working in customers' homes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out plastering and skimming works.
• Undertake tiling to walls and floors.
• Paint and decorate after repair works.
• Complete general making-good works.
• Repair and treat damaged walls, ceilings and surfaces.
• Carry out remedial works related to disrepair cases.
• Work in occupied properties and maintain professionalism with residents.
• Diagnose issues and complete repairs to a high standard.
• Collaborate with other trades and disrepair team members.
• Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and on time.
• Maintain high workmanship and aim for first-time fix.
• Complete relevant paperwork and job records.
