Job summary

Connect Appointments are seeking a Wet Painter for immediate starts in Prestwick to operate painting lines and apply coatings to engineered parts. You will select paints and mixing parameters, load and unload parts, and perform touch-up spraying to meet quality standards.

Day shift: Mon-Fri 7am–3:15pm; Back shift: Mon-Thu 3pm–1:15am. Day pay £13/h, back shift £16.14/h. Prior powder coating line experience is preferred, especially in automotive or structural steel sectors.

Qualifications

• Previous experience operating similar powder coating paint lines.
• Experience spraying automotive, structural steel or within a commercial environment is preferred.

• Loading and unloading of parts.
• Touch-up spraying of any parts requiring extra finishing.

Connect Appointments are seeking a Wet Painter for immediate starts on either day shift or back shift in Prestwick! Our client is a leading manufacturer of engineered parts.

What’s on offer:

• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:15pm
• Back shift: Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 1:15am
• Basic rate of £13 per hour (day shift) and £16.14 per hour (back shift)

As a Wet Painter, your responsibilities will include:

• Selecting correct paints, coatings and mixing parameters for each job
• Loading and unloading of parts
• Touch-up spraying of any parts requiring extra finishing
• Ensuring set standards are met

The ideal Wet Painter will have previous experience operating similar powder coating paint lines. Previous experience in spraying automotive, structural steel or within a commercial environment would be preferred.
