Prospero Teaching is recruiting a dynamic and dedicated Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Neath Port-Talbot. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support students in both small groups and 1:1 settings, helping them with their academic progress and personal development. You will play a key role in creating an engaging, inclusive, and positive learning atmosphere.
Contract/Position Details

Location – Various locations across Neath Port-Talbot
Position – Welsh speaking Teaching Assistant
Type of work – Teaching Assistant – day to day and long term cover in various schools
Start date – ASAP
Duration / Likely Duration – Day to day bookings, with the potential for extension depending on schools
End date (if applicable) – N/A
Contract type – Temporary
Full time/part time – Part time and full time depending on schools' needs
Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate per day
Hours – 8:45 am – 3:20 pm (full day), half day (am or pm), individual lesson cover
What We're Looking For:
· Previous experience working with children, preferably in a school or educational setting (though not essential).
· Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
· A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
· Ability to motivate and inspire students.
