TeacherActive are sourcing a Welsh Speaking Teaching Assistant for an Outstanding Primary School in Pontypridd. The role supports pupils with learning activities and requires a Level 2/3 qualification with experience in education.

You will work on a 1:1 and small-group basis, adhering to safeguarding guidelines, and be paid via PAYE. Successful applicants will undergo enhanced DBS checks and provide two references.

Qualifications

The successful Teaching Assistant will have the following:

• Level 2 or 3 qualified and/or a minimum of 6 months experience in an educational establishment
• A calm, patient and caring personal
• Good communication skills
• A good understanding of child protection and safeguarding guidelines
• Experience in working with supporting students in their education on a 1:1 and a small group basis

Successful applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS disclosure and provide at least 2 references.
