Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting Teaching Assistants to work in Llanelli schools. This temporary role offers a daily rate of £85.50. You will support teachers with engaging lessons, provide 1:1 and small-group assistance, and help learners with diverse abilities, including ALN.

Bilingual Welsh-English applicants are welcome, and an enhanced DBS is preferred. Join a dynamic team delivering high-quality support across English and Welsh-medium settings, with flexible assignments and consultant support.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desired.
• Bilingual applicants welcome.
• Previous experience working with children or young people is essential.
• Experience supporting pupils with ALN is desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, proactive, and adaptable approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
