Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking a Full-Time Welsh-Speaking Teaching Assistant in the Rhondda Cynon Taf area. The role involves supporting young learners across various schools, requiring fluency in Welsh and a passion for education.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Welsh (spoken and written).
• Previous experience working with children or young people preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible, proactive, and willing to travel across multiple school sites.

Responsibilities

• Support teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4 (and KS5 where applicable).
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support for pupils, including those with Additional Learning Needs.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
• Assist teachers with lesson preparation, classroom management, and pupil assessments.
• Work collaboratively with teachers, pupils, and the wider school community.
