TeacherActive Ltd is recruiting a fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position in a mainstream primary school in Newport. The role involves supporting pupils and collaborating with the class teacher throughout the school day.

The successful candidate should be able to commit to a full-time schedule and bring strong Welsh language and classroom support skills to the role. A proactive, enthusiastic approach and good teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
• The ability to support pupils effectively within the classroom

Responsibilities

• Support primary-aged pupils with their learning and development, working closely with the class teacher to provide effective classroom support.
• Assist in managing classroom activities and behaviour to create a positive learning environment.
