TeacherActive is recruiting a fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant for a mainstream primary school in Newport. This full-time, long-term role starts ASAP and supports primary-aged pupils throughout the school day.

You will work closely with the class teacher to provide effective classroom assistance, help pupils with their learning and development, and contribute positively to a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Welsh language fluency is required.
• Experience with primary-aged children is desirable.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Salary: £92.63 - £99.63 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a mainstream primary school based in Newport. The school is looking for an enthusiastic and committed fluent Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant who can contribute positively to the classroom and support pupils throughout their school day.

The school is looking to take on a Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful Teaching Assistant will support primary-aged pupils with their learning and development, working closely with the class teacher to provide effective classroom support.

The successful Teaching Assistant will have:

• Fluency in Welsh
• Experience working with primary-aged children is desirable
• The ability to support pupils effectively within the classroom
• A positive and enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• The ability to commit to the role on a full-time basis
