Welsh Speaking Primary School Learning Support Assistant (ALN)

Join us at Equal Education Partners for an exciting opportunity as a Welsh Speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA) specializing in ALN (Additional Learning Needs) at a vibrant primary school in Lampeter. This role involves supporting pupils in KS1 and KS2, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally, within a warm and inclusive environment.

Your responsibilities include:

  1. Providing one-to-one or small group support to students with ALN both inside and outside the classroom
  2. Supporting the implementation of individual learning plans and strategies
  3. Assisting teachers in creating an inclusive, engaging learning environment
  4. Helping students develop social, emotional, and academic skills

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A compassionate and patient attitude towards supporting children with ALN
  • Fluency in Welsh to effectively engage with students and staff
  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (preferred)
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • A proactive and adaptable approach to work
