On 1 April 2019 Cwm Taf University Health Board changed its name to Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board as it took responsibility for providing healthcare services for the people in the Bridgend County Borough area. We are excited to offer this paediatric Specialist Speech and Language Therapist post to an enthusiastic, innovative therapist who is passionate about supporting children's speech, language and communication needs and who is looking to further develop their skills.

Cwm Taf Morgannwg SLT department are a friendly and compassionate team who place a strong commitment to supporting staff wellbeing, supervision and continued professional development.

You will have access to a range of clinical specialists for support and advice..

This post is a fixed term/secondment until 31/08/27 to cover a secondment. If you are interested in applying for it as a secondment, please obtain permission from your current line manager prior to applying.

You will work alongside other SLTs and SLT Technical Instructors in the children's community clinic team across the Cwm Taf Morgannwg area providing assessment, diagnosis and support for children with a range of speech and language needs. You will provide clinical support for other members of the SLT team and will be responsible for mentoring newly qualified SLTs.

We are looking for a therapist who works well as part of a team with excellent communication skills and enjoys working collaboratively with others. You will demonstrate the Health Board values of listening, learning and improving, treating everyone with respect and always working together as one team.
