Job summary

Ceredigion County Council is seeking a responsible and caring individual to support a 16-year-old with severe learning difficulties. The position requires fluency in Welsh and the ability to drive to accompany the individual to activities and classes regularly, ensuring daily routine

Qualifications

• Welsh language essential.
• Driving licence and vehicle suitability preferred.
• Experience or ability to support a young person with learning difficulties.

Responsibilities

• Assist the young person with activities of interest (e.g., swimming, horse-riding, gaming, trips) and develop weekly activity programs.
• Provide social stimulation and encourage community engagement.
• Ensure the safety of the client at all times.
• Carry out reasonable requests from the employer as required.
