Job summary

Aspire People Limited in Newport (West) is seeking a Welsh-speaking Learning Support Assistant (LSA) for a fantastic school. The role is part-time (2-3 days a week) and starts at the beginning of September, with a view to ongoing support.

You will work one-to-one and in small groups, support learning plans, promote inclusive practice, and use Welsh within the school community. The ideal candidate is fluent in Welsh, has experience with children, and demonstrates patience, empathy, and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Welsh (written and spoken).
• Experience with children, preferably in education.
• Compassionate, patient and positive attitude toward supporting learners.
• Strong communication and ability to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students.
• Assist in developing and implementing tailored learning plans.
• Promote inclusive learning and support emotional and social development.
