Job summary

TeacherActive Ltd is seeking a qualified Drama Teacher capable of delivering Welsh-speaking lessons in a secondary school on-site in Neath Port Talbot. The role focuses on KS3 and KS4, delivering engaging drama and Welsh across the curriculum.

You will manage classes, assess progress, and foster creativity, confidence, and language development while aligning with the Curriculum for Wales. Temporary/permanent placement with a daily rate of £172.98.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) recognised in Wales is required.
• Ability to teach both Drama and Welsh at Secondary School level is essential.
• Strong Welsh language skills, both verbal and written.
• Experience teaching Drama and/or Welsh in a Secondary School is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in Drama and Welsh for KS3/KS4.
• Assess pupil progress and create a positive learning environment.
• Develop pupils' performance skills and language proficiency through practical activities.
