Job summary

TeacherActive is seeking a Welsh-speaking Cover Supervisor in Vale of Glamorgan to provide general cover across the secondary curriculum. The role starts ASAP and is full-time, long-term, with daily rates discussed below.

You will deliver pre-planned work and maintain a positive learning environment throughout lessons. The ideal candidate speaks fluent Welsh, has confidence managing classrooms, and can adapt to a range of subjects while keeping pupils engaged and on task.

Qualifications

• Fluent Welsh speaker required.
• Experience with secondary-aged pupils desirable.
• Confident delivering pre-planned work across subjects.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a secondary school based in the Vale of Glamorgan who are looking to appoint a Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor. The school is looking for a confident and adaptable individual who can support pupils across the secondary curriculum while maintaining a positive learning environment.

The school is looking to take on a Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor on a full-time, long-term basis starting ASAP. The successful Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor will provide General Cover across a range of subjects, delivering work that has been set in advance and ensuring pupils remain engaged and focused throughout each lesson.

The successful Welsh Speaking Cover Supervisor will have:

• The ability to speak Welsh fluently
• Experience working with secondary-aged pupils is desirable
• Confidence delivering pre-planned work across a range of subjects
• Excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A confident, adaptable and positive approach
