Job summary

Holland & Barrett is hiring a Retail Assistant in Northallerton, North Yorkshire. This permanent, part-time role (10 hours/week) offers training to build health knowledge and a chance to create welcoming customer experiences.

You will help customers choose products for their wellbeing, maintain presentation, support promotions and work with the team to hit store targets. Training and benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for helping people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, approachable style.
• Curiosity about health and wellness, with a willingness to learn.
• Ability to stay organised, work as part of a team and adapt in a busy retail environment.
• Confidence using technology, including tablets and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming customers and helping them find the right products for their wellness goals.
• Recommending products and solutions with confidence while delivering outstanding customer service.
• Keeping shelves fully stocked and merchandising displays to a high standard.
• Supporting promotions, maintaining store presentation and ensuring excellent operational standards.
• Working collaboratively with your team to achieve store goals and create a positive shopping experience.
• Use a consultative approach to understand customers' needs and recommend the right products, whether available in store or online.
• Completing our Qualified to Advise training to build your product knowledge and provide trusted guidance.
