Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Exercise Science program or applicable certification is required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Knowledge of exercise science principles, fitness programming, and group fitness instruction.
• Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach safe, effective, and engaging aerobic, strength, toning, and dance/step classes for varying fitness levels.
• Administer and interpret Lifestyle Assessment Profiles (LAP) for employees, community members, and local businesses.
• Plan, coordinate, and oversee wellness programming, exercise classes, health screenings, and employee wellness initiatives.
• Support the promotion and administration of wellness memberships and programs.
• Market wellness programs, classes, and events at community events and health fairs.
• Provide exercise guidance and program progression recommendations within scope of practice and certification.
