Job summary

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council is seeking a Wellbeing Tutor to deliver non-accredited wellbeing courses across the Borough. The role focuses on a person-centred approach to mitigate employment barriers, with travel to multiple venues and a requirement for a teaching/training qualification.

Applicants will support the Trailblazer programme, offering mentoring, counselling, and wellbeing provision to economically inactive individuals with health conditions or caring responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Teaching or training qualification is essential.
• Experience delivering wellbeing or health-related programmes is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Deliver non-accredited wellbeing courses across the Borough.
• Provide one-to-one mentoring and counselling support as part of the Trailblazer Wellbeing Tutor role.
• Support the Trailblazer programme targets by helping participants overcome barriers to employment.
