Job summary

Gwent Police is seeking a compassionate Wellbeing Specialist to join the Occupational Health and Wellbeing team within People Services on a 12-month fixed term contract. You will deliver wellbeing initiatives, training and support across the Force, working with officers, staff, managers, peer supporters and external partners to promote positive wellbeing.

The role involves delivering wellbeing activity, providing information and signposting, supporting colleagues after difficult or traumatic

Qualifications

• Deliver wellbeing training, events and awareness activity.
• Support people with empathy, discretion and professionalism.
• Coordinate work across different locations, services or groups.
• Manage sensitive information accurately and confidentially.
• Flexible, organised and positive approach to a busy role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver wellbeing activity, information and signposting.
• Support colleagues after difficult or traumatic situations.
• Coordinate key wellbeing programmes such as TRiM, neurodiversity support and peer support.
• Work collaboratively with internal teams, staff networks and external partners.
• Be flexible to travel and occasional work outside normal hours.
