Job summary

Turning Point is seeking a Wellbeing Recovery Worker based at HMP Thameside in South London to deliver person-centred support for service users with complex needs. You'll develop realistic, flexible support packages, deliver harm reduction education, run group sessions, and undertake 1-to-1 recovery planning while maintaining accurate records and timely reports.

The role requires strong spoken and written communication, caseload management, and experience handling incidents of aggression.

Qualifications

• Experience managing a caseload of service users with complex needs.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience managing incidents of violence or aggression.

Responsibilities

• Assist with delivering a high-quality, person-centred service.
• Develop support packages that are realistic and flexible.
• Provide information and sign-posting to service users; facilitate groups.
• Educate on harm reduction and undertake 1-to-1 recovery planning.
• Carry out risk assessments and ensure reports/records are maintained.
