Job summary

Aspris Education and Children’s Services is recruiting a Wellbeing and Engagement Lead for Roehampton Gate School’s Putney Vale post-16 provision. You will support across all key stages, champion a safe, emotionally secure environment and work with teaching colleagues to raise aspirations.

This role offers safeguarding responsibilities, crisis guidance, and contribution to CPD sessions. We provide induction, training, and a collaborative culture where staff wellbeing is valued and professional

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively to uphold and embed the school’s vision of raising aspirations and fulfilling potential of our young people
• Champion an environment that is safe and emotionally secure, demonstrating empathy, adaptability and resilience in meeting and supporting the emotional needs of our young people
• Provide emotional guidance during crises, employing de-escalation strategies and ensuring we invest in preventive and early intervention work
• Deliver intervention sessions as directed by the Pastoral Manager
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of students, acting as a source of advice on safety and safeguarding
• Assist in implementing individual pupil plans, including pastoral support plans and behaviour contracts
• Contribute to the design and delivery of staff CPD sessions focused on behaviour for learning, SEND and strategies relating to the Aspris modalities
• Foster strong relationships with parents, carers and external agencies to build robust understanding of young person needs and promote home-school collaboration
