Job summary

Splendid Hospitality Group is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to support residents at Upper Mead Care Home. The role focuses on wellbeing, social engagement and person-centred activities, with a rolling rota averaging 28 hours per week across 4 or 3 shifts.

The position requires a caring approach, strong communication and flexibility to work evenings, weekends and bank holidays. You will help residents maintain independence and build meaningful experiences through activities, art, movement

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging wellbeing activities for social and physical wellbeing.
• Create meaningful experiences through arts, music, reminiscence and digital tools.
• Encourage participation in activities to maintain independence.
• Monitor wellbeing and report changes to the care team promptly.
• Maintain a safe, hygienic environment following procedures.
• Build relationships with residents, families and colleagues.
• Collaborate with the team across the home and attend training.
