Job summary

Hampton Lodge care home in Southampton is seeking an Activities Co-ordinator to enhance residents' wellbeing through a varied programme of activities. You will design and deliver activities for individuals and groups, support IT use to stay connected with family, and work with staff, volunteers and the community to foster engagement and purpose.

Qualifications

• Passion for improving residents' lives through meaningful engagement.
• Ability to design and deliver group and individual activities.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and listening skills.
• Confidence with IT tools to support residents' engagement.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan, and deliver activities for individuals and groups.
• Promote wellbeing through engaging and inclusive activities.
• Support residents in using IT to stay connected with family and friends.
• Liaise with staff, relatives, volunteers and community groups.
• Keep records of activities, attendance, and outcomes for care plans.
• Review and adapt activities to changing resident needs.
• Assist with induction and support for new staff as appropriate.
• Ensure safe use and maintenance of activity resources within budget.
