Job summary

Starr Hills care home in Lytham St Annes, part of MHA, seeks an Activities Co-ordinator to design and deliver engaging programmes for residents. You will support social, physical and emotional wellbeing, and help residents stay connected via IT tools.

Collaborating with staff, families and volunteers, you will adapt activities to changing needs, maintain records, and promote a positive, inclusive culture across the home.

Qualifications

• Passion for improving residents' wellbeing through engaging activities.
• Ability to design and deliver group and individual activities.
• Good organisation and multitasking skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, plan and run a varied programme of activities for residents.
• Promote wellbeing through creative and inclusive activities.
• Help residents access IT tools to stay connected with family.
• Coordinate with staff, relatives and community groups.
• Record attendance and outcomes, support care plans.
• Review and adapt activities to changing needs.
• Support induction of new staff and assist with budgets.
• Follow safeguarding, infection control and safety policies.
• Attend required training and travel to other MHA locations.
