Job summary

Dedicated Progression Advisor role based in Bath, covering a large geographic area with regular travel. You will provide personalised coaching to help participants progress in employment and wellbeing, maintaining close relationships and delivering practical employability support.

Role requires travel across wide areas, a full driving licence, and experience delivering one-to-one coaching. Full-time, permanent, with pension, healthcare and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Willingness to travel across a large geographic area.
• Own car and full driving licence.
• Experience working independently with a dispersed caseload.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Experience supporting people to achieve positive change through coaching or similar activities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and maintain engagement.
• Experience delivering one-to-one support and developing personalised action plans.
• Understanding of health, wellbeing and life circumstances on participation and progression.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with participants and provide a safe environment for change.
• Deliver personalised coaching that builds confidence, wellbeing and progression.
• Assess strengths, aspirations and needs to develop healthy routines and practical strategies.
• Provide one-to-one wellbeing and progression coaching to boost confidence and motivation.
• Facilitate access to community activities, volunteering, learning and support networks.
• Support participants to build confidence using digital technology and remote platforms.
• Develop and review in-work support plans to sustain employment outcomes.
• Coordinate referrals to specialist services when extra support is needed.
• Maintain accurate records and collaborate with employers and partners.
