This role as a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator at Avery Healthcare offers the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of residents every day. You will be responsible for providing a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being, while promoting the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment. Your compassion, dedication, and experience in working with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting will be highly valued.
As the Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator, your focus will be to provide a wide range of activities to engage and stimulate the residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being and to understand the need to promote the philosophy of privacy, dignity, independence, choice, rights, and fulfilment for all residents. Other responsibilities will include identifying the life history, needs, and preferences of residents, planning and submitting monthly activity and wellbeing plans, arranging activities and events, and maintaining a safe living and working environment.
