Job summary

Avante Care & Support Ltd. invites applications for an Activities & Wellbeing Coordinator at Amherst Court, Chatham. The role covers planning creative, resident-focused activities to promote independence, social engagement, and wellbeing, with 35 hours per week and weekends included.

You’ll lead social events and 1:1 activities, assist with community outings, and work with families and volunteers. A compassionate, energetic, and organised approach is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and flexible planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Creating meaningful experiences that promote independence and wellbeing.
• Stimulating body and mind through planned and spontaneous activities.
• Supporting residents to remain active in the community.
• Collaborating with colleagues, families and volunteers.
• Driving the Avante minibus for outings (if needed).
• Coordinating group and 1:1 activities tailored to interests.
• Ensuring high standards of care in line with Eden Alternative Philosophy.
