Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Winchester Heights Care Home in Hampshire. You will design and deliver a diverse range of activities to support residents’ physical, emotional, and social well-being while upholding privacy, dignity, independence and choice.

Ideal candidates will have experience with older people in residential settings, strong planning and communication skills, and a positive attitude towards enriching residents'

Qualifications

• Experience caring for older adults in a residential setting.
• Proven ability to plan and run activities and events.
• Strong verbal and written communication; collaborative approach.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents' life histories, needs and preferences to inform activity planning.
• Develop and submit a monthly wellbeing and activity plan and a weekly overview to the Home Manager.
• Arrange activities, events and outings, involving staff, relatives and visitors.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and uphold the home’s professional image.
