Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a warm Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Winchester Heights Care Home in Hampshire. You will plan and deliver engaging activities to support residents’ physical, emotional and social well-being.

The role requires experience with older people, especially in dementia settings, and strong communication skills. A DBS disclosure check will be undertaken by Avery, and proof of eligibility to work in the UK is required.

Qualifications

• Experience organising activities and events.
• Previously worked with older people in a residential nursing Dementia setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of activities to engage residents' physical, psychological, and social well-being.
• Develop and submit a monthly activity and wellbeing plan and a weekly overview to the Home Manager.
• Arrange activities, events, and outings involving staff, relatives, and visitors.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment and uphold the home’s professional image.
