Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Wellbeing and Activities Coordinator for Spencer House Care Home in Northampton. You will plan, coordinate and deliver engaging activities to enhance residents’ physical, psychological, and social well‑being, while promoting privacy, dignity and independence.

Ideal candidates will have experience with older people in dementia settings, strong organization and communication skills, and a patient, compassionate approach.

Qualifications

• Experience organising activities and events.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience working with older people in residential dementia settings.
• Strong commitment to providing stimulating social activities.

Responsibilities

• Develop a monthly activity and wellbeing plan for residents.
• Arrange activities, events and outings with staff, relatives and visitors.
• Identify residents' life histories and preferences to tailor activities.
• Maintain a safe, respectful and engaging environment in the home.
