Job summary

Nugent Care is seeking an Activities Co-Ordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of meaningful activities for residents in our elderly care home.

You’ll support wellbeing, independence and social connection through arts, music, reminiscence, celebrations and community involvement. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, with a compassionate, people-centred approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in activity co-ordination or activity-based role preferred.
• Ability to tailor activities to individual needs and dementia exposure is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage older people.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities for residents’ wellbeing.
• Organise group events, gentle exercise, arts, music and community outings.
• Provide one-to-one engagement and tailor activities to individuals.
• Build relationships with residents, families, and volunteers.
• Maintain records, attend meetings, and manage resources and budgets.
