Nugent Care is seeking an Activities Co-Ordinator to plan and deliver a varied programme of meaningful activities for residents in our elderly care home.
You’ll support wellbeing, independence and social connection through arts, music, reminiscence, celebrations and community involvement. Strong communication and organisational skills are essential, with a compassionate, people-centred approach.
Are you a creative, compassionate, and enthusiastic individual who enjoys making a positive difference in people's lives? We are looking for an Activities Co-Ordinator to join our dedicated team and play a key role in enhancing the wellbeing and quality of life of residents within the elderly care home. This rewarding role involves planning, coordinating, and delivering a varied programme of engaging, meaningful and person-centred activities that support residents to remain active, connected, and fulfilled. You will create opportunities that promote social interaction, independence, dignity, and choice, while ensuring activities are tailored to individual needs, interests, and abilities. From arts and crafts, music and reminiscence sessions to celebrations, community engagement and one-to-one support, you will help residents enjoy each day to the fullest.
Warm, caring, and passionate about supporting older people.
Previous experience within a care home, day service, community setting or activity-based role would be advantageous, particularly experience supporting older people or those living with dementia.
