Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group in Bracknell is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Assistant (Bank) to assist the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering activities that support residents’ physical, cognitive and social well-being.

You will help maintain a safe environment, contribute to a positive image of the home, and report changes to care staff. DBS check provided by Avery upon appointment; proof of eligibility to work in the UK required.

Qualifications

• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Understanding of how interaction supports well-being.
• Commitment to providing stimulating activities for older residents.

Responsibilities

• Support Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering activities.
• Maintain a safe living and working environment.
• Report any changes in residents’ condition to the Wellbeing Coordinator and care staff.
• Assist with ordering and preparing supplies for activities.
• Establish links with local community groups to promote intergenerational activity.
