Job summary

Avery Healthcare is seeking a warm, enthusiastic Wellbeing and Activities Assistant (Bank) for Sonning Gardens Care Home in Reading. You will support the Wellbeing Coordinator in delivering engaging activities that promote residents' physical, cognitive, and social wellbeing.

Responsibilities include maintaining a safe environment, reporting changes in residents' conditions, and building community links to encourage intergenerational activities. DBS check and right to work in the UK are required.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication with residents and colleagues.
• Understanding of how interaction impacts residents' wellbeing.
• Experience working with older people in residential care, preferably in dementia settings.
