Job summary

SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, is seeking Welfare Officers to provide direct welfare support to RAF personnel and their families. You will assist service users with challenges from mental ill-health to housing, finances, and bereavement, delivering interventions with consent on a non-statutory basis.

You will promote the service within the RAF community and support digital uplift across teams. Based at RAF Leeming with potential travel, you will be part of a 2-person team within a wider

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver presentations with confidence.
• Experience supporting adults, families and young people.
• Ability to plan and manage workload with minimal supervision.
