Job summary

DMWS is an international charity delivering medical welfare support to the armed forces community. The role focuses on helping service personnel, veterans and their families, with a particular emphasis on hard-to-reach individuals, across hospital and community settings.

We require someone with strong interpersonal skills, able to work as part of a team and independently, who is compassionate and enthusiastic about supporting the armed forces’ community.

Qualifications

• Experience in family and carers welfare preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Willingness to be mobile and deployable for the role.

Responsibilities

• Support armed forces community on a medical pathway in secondary healthcare.
• Assist veterans, their families and carers with information and access to services.
• Provide flexible working support and mobility as required by role.
• Contribute to a compassionate, professional welfare service for service personnel.
