Qualifications

• Experience as Team Leader, Supervisor or Senior Fabricator/Welder.
• Strong fabrication and welding background in manufacturing.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Strong organisational and workload management skills.
• Good communication and people-management abilities.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Understanding of quality control procedures.
• Competent with production documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of fabricators, welders, assemblers and production operatives.
• Allocate daily workloads in line with production schedules.
• Monitor performance and productivity; provide coaching.
• Conduct daily toolbox talks and communicate targets and updates.
• Assist with staff training and development.
• Promote teamwork, quality, safety and continuous improvement.
