Recruit4Staff are recruiting on behalf of a leading engineering company in Stoke-on-Trent for a Welding Supervisor role. The successful candidate will lead a team of welders and fabricators, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to drawing specifications.

You will identify production bottlenecks, drive continuous improvement, and support daily targets in a busy manufacturing environment. The role offers a competitive salary and progression opportunities.

Qualificações

• MIG welding experience is essential.
• Experience supervising welders or fabricators is required.
• Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
• Must be able to pass a drugs test.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise a team of Welder/Fabricators.
• Ensure welds meet company standards and quality.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
• Participate in hands-on welding when needed.
• Assist with rework and process improvements.
• Mentor the team to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain safe, efficient production practices.

• Competitive basic salary paying £40,000 Per Annum
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
• Temporary to Permanent roles within a thriving manufacturer

The Role - Welding Supervisor:

• Supervising a team of Welder / Fabricators
• Ensuring the team are producing Welds to the correct standards
• Identifying any bottlenecks in work being completed and identifying best measures
• Jumping on the tools at times when required
• Helping rework items when required
• Ensuring work being completed is to set Company standards
• Mentoring the team and striving for continuous improvement
