Qualifications

• MIG welding experience is required.
• Experience supervising a team or shift is essential.
• Solid knowledge of welding and fabrication processes.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of welders/fabricators to meet production targets.
• Ensure weld quality and conformance to company standards.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement process improvements.
• Lead by example, assist with welding when needed.
• Mentor and develop team to drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain safe and efficient operation on the shop floor.

For the successful Welding Supervisor our client is offering:

• Competitive basic salary paying £40,000 Per Annum
• Monday to Friday, 7:30am-5pm with a 12:30pm finish on Fridays
• Temporary to Permanent roles within a thriving manufacturer

The Role - Welding Supervisor:

• Supervising a team of Welder / Fabricators
• Ensuring the team are producing Welds to the correct standards
• Identifying any bottlenecks in work being completed and identifying best measures
• Jumping on the tools at times when required
• Helping rework items when required
• Ensuring work being completed is to set Company standards
• Mentoring the team and striving for continuous improvement

What our client is looking for in a Welding Supervisor:

• MIG Welding experience
• Supervisory experience
• Welding & Fabrication knowledge
• Able to read drawings
• Happy to support the team at times when needed with Welding & Fabrication
• Strong man management & communication skills
• MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A DRUGS TEST!
