Job summary

Mactech Inspection Ltd seeks a Welding Supervisor for the Hinkley Point C nuclear new build project in Bridgwater. Start is November 2026, with a 10 day on / 4 day off rotation. You will oversee TIG and MMA welding on site to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Applicants must have LATS, IOSH Managing Safely or SSSTS and CCNSG Safety Passport before starting on site. Rates align with the SSA, including bonuses and allowances as listed.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising weld teams on major projects.
• Welding to TIG/MMA processes and codes.
• On-site safety certifications required before start.

WELDING SUPERVISOR

HINKLEY POINT C, BRIDGWATER

LONG TERM OPPORTUNITY

STARTING NOVEMBER 2026

10 DAY ON / 4 DAY OFF ROTATION

Mactech require a Welding Supervisor with TIG and MMA experience for Hinkley Point C nuclear new build project.

To start November 2026, subject to vetting and onboarding.

LATS, IOSH Managing Safely or SSSTS plus CCNSG Safety Passport are essential prior to starting on site.

Rates are in line with Site Supervisors Agreement (SSA) as per below:

• Dayshift Rate: £33.23/hr
• OT1: £46.53/hr
• OT2: £59.82/hr
• Bonus: Up to £4.99/hr
• Lodge Allowance: £53.39/day (£373.73/week) - if eligible
• Travel: Return rail fare + travel time - if eligible
• Holidays: 20 days + public holidays
