Job summary

Mactech Energy Group seeks a Welding Superintendent for the Hinkley Point C nuclear new build in Bridgwater. The role starts in November 2026, with a 10 day on / 4 day off rotation and on-site work. Rates align with SSA agreements: Dayshift £36.38/hr, OT1 £50.94/hr, OT2 £65.49/hr, with a £4.99/hr bonus and lodge allowance up to £53.39 per day (where eligible).

HINKLEY POINT C, BRIDGWATER

LONG TERM OPPORTUNITY

STARTING NOVEMBER 2026

Mactech require a Welding Superintendent for Hinkley Point C nuclear new build project.

To start November 2026, subject to vetting and onboarding.

SMSTS or IOSH Managing Safely and CCNSG Safety Passport is essential prior to starting on site.

Rates are in line with Site Supervisors Agreement (SSA) as per below: -

• Dayshift Rate: £36.38/hr
• OT1: £50.94/hr
• OT2: £65.49/hr
• Bonus: Up to £4.99/hr
• Lodge Allowance: £53.39/day (£373.73/week) - if eligible
• Travel: Return rail fare + travel time - if eligible
• Holidays: 20 days + public holidays
