Job summary

A leading company in the UK is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors to conduct thorough inspections on various fabrication projects. Candidates must have significant inspection experience and recognized certifications, along with the ability to work independently as freelancers or with agencies. The role requires effective reporting skills in English and a solid understanding of international standards. This position offers flexibility and the chance to work on multiple projects between January and September 2025.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in welding inspection.
• Experience at vendor premises preferred.
• Ability to prepare inspection reports.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of fabrication activities for clients.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.

RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• Experienced in Conducting fabrication inspection of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessories
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Inspector,
• NDT L2 in MT, PT, RT, UT
• Inspectors shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Inspector with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
