Job summary

RINA is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors in the UK to conduct inspections for esteemed clients. The role requires significant experience in fabrication inspection and relevant certifications. Preferred candidates will have a strong proficiency in English and the ability to work as freelancers or through agencies for ad hoc activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience, 5 years in similar fabrication.
• Experience at vendor's premises.
• Freelance or agency inspector able to invoice.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fabrication inspections for various components.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Ensure compliance with international standards.

RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• Experienced in Conducting fabrication inspection of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessories
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Inspector,
• NDT L2 in MT, PT, RT, UT
• Inspectors shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Inspector with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
