Job summary

A leading company in the UK is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors to perform key inspection activities on fabrication projects. Ideal candidates will have at least 10 years of experience, alongside relevant certifications including CSWIP 3.1 and AWS. Inspectors will work on an ad hoc basis and should be able to provide invoicing as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of inspection experience with at least 5 years in fabrication.
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Experience in vendor's premises inspections or third-party inspections.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspection activities for fabrication of vent hatches and accessories.
• Interact with clients and understand international standards/codes.
• Invoice services being a freelancer or part of an agency.

RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• Experienced in Conducting fabrication inspection of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessories
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Inspector,
• NDT L2 in MT, PT, RT, UT
• Inspectors shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Inspector with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
