Audit Quality Inspector - Permanent - Birmingham (hybrid) - £92k

We are currently working with a leading public sector regulator looking for 2 experienced Audit Professionals to join their team as Audit Quality Inspectors.

The successful candidates will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, an analytical mindset, and extensive external audit experience within a major firm. This is a unique opportunity to join an experienced team within an organization that offers longevity and a healthy work-life balance. Role Details

• Position: Audit Quality Inspector
• Salary: £92k (non-negotiable)
• Location: Birmingham, with 2 days per week onsite

Key Skills and Experience

• Accounting qualification - ACA, ACCA (or equivalent)
• Member of ICAEW, ACCA, ICAS, or ICAI (or equivalent)
• Experience in audits of listed and other public interest entities (external audit)
• Big 4 experience is beneficial
• Genuine interest and enthusiasm for audit quality initiatives
• Experience across multiple sectors
• Cold file or quality initiatives experience is desirable
• Experience handling closing meetings and managing difficult conversations with firms
