Job summary

A leading company is seeking experienced Welding Inspectors for critical inspection activities across the UK with projects scheduled from July to September 2025. The ideal candidates will possess strong qualifications, including CSWIP or AWS certifications, and a solid background in inspection practices. This opportunity is open to freelance inspectors or agencies capable of invoicing services.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years experience in similar fabrication inspections.
• 5 years minimum of vendor's premises experience.
• Ability to invoice service.

Responsibilities

• Conduct fabrication inspections for various components.
• Prepare daily/weekly inspection reports.
• Work on ad hoc inspection projects.

RINA is looking for experienced Welding Inspectors to perform inspection activities on behalf of RINA for our esteemed clients in the UK.

Requested:

• Experienced in Conducting fabrication inspection of vent hatches, hot stabs, dummy stabs, receptacles and accessories
• CSWIP 3.1 Welding Inspector or AWS Certified Inspector,
• NDT L2 in MT, PT, RT, UT
• Inspectors shall have minimum 10 years of experience (minimum 5 years shall be from similar type of fabrication). Inspectors should have inspection experience at the vendor’s premises. Experience may cover daily inspections or short term/long term project inspections on behalf of clients or third party inspections;
• Inspector with coating inspection certificates such as Level II Painting Inspector NACE, AMPP, FROSIO, BGAS is an added advantage
• Ability to prepare daily/weekly inspection reports;
• Adequate level of English for reporting, understanding international standards/codes, and communicating with clients in case of need;
• Being a freelancer inspector or part of inspectors agency/society, the inspector or the company should be able to invoice the service;
