Job summary

Direct Engineering & Site Services Ltd based in Chesterfield is offering two Level 2 Welder apprenticeships to support a growing fabrication section. You will learn MIG and TIG welding and assist with component fabrication and assembly.

This training combines practical on-the-job experience with support from Chesterfield College to achieve a Level 2 Welder qualification, with training location to be confirmed.

Qualifications

• Willing to train to Level 2 Welder with employer support.
• Good communication and teamwork.
• Interest in fabrication and welding processes.

About The Role

Direct Engineering has two welding apprenticeships available due to expansion of the fabrication section at Direct Engineering, based in Chesterfield. Direct Engineering is a diverse company with great opportunities and continues to invest in all new modern technologies to improve production and methods of manufacture.

About The Training

An apprenticeship allows you to earn a wage, gain valuable work experience and industry-specific competence

You will be expected to work towards a Level 2 General Welder with support from your employer and the Chesterfield College Group
